A RARE GEORGE II SCARLET-JAPANNED TOILET MIRROR, etched medievil design lamp the almost square plate
with a moulded surround and the serpentine-fronted base with two long drawers
attractively decorated with chinoiserie figures and buildings in black and gilt on a scarlet
ground, mahogany table lion rope twist 2ft.high by lft. 8V2in. wide (77cm. by 52cm.) circa 1740.
A GEORGE II WALNUT BUREAU of small size, 18th english oak refectory table h stretcher the sloping front enclosing a fitted
interior with a cupboard and six drawers above four graduated long drawers, carved rocking chair lions on side on bracket
feet, inexpensive french marble top writing desks 3ft. Hin. high by lft. Hin. wide (93cm. by 58.5cm.) mid-18th Century, footed candlestick nouveau partly
reveneered and later feet.
AN IMPORTANT GEORGE II MAHOGANY CHEST attributed to William Vile, english buffet mahogany with
verde-antico marble top above a leaf-carved and bead-and-reel frieze, kraak plates with two recessed
cases of four drawers below with leaf-carved cross-bars and brass ring handles and lock-
plates, lion head dinning table bases centred and flanked by three projecting lion terms with brass rings in their
mouths, lion’s head on chair feet with arched apron and plinth base, carved ebony dining table 3ft. high by 5ft. 53Ain. wide by 2ft. 3V2in. deep
(91.5cm. by 167cm. by 170cm.) circa 1740.
A HIGHLY IMPORTANT EARLY GEORGE III MAHOGANY CABINET by William Hallen, value of early american carver chair
of architectural form, french antique pottery with pastoral scenes the upper part with a broken triangular pediment, gothic bed canopies dentil cornice
and Greek-key-carved frieze above a pair of unequal fielded-panel cupboard doors, meissen with an oval and blue star marking
divided by fluted Ionic pilasters and enclosing shelves, hand cast and hand finished in fused bronze collector plate the lower part with four long
drawers flanked by fluted columns with Ionic capitals with lion-mask handles, antique pear tea caddies on a solid
projecting plinth base and with brass carrying handles at the sides, slovakian gold and flower decorated dark blue glass vases 7ft. VMn. high by
4ft. 5V2in. wide (232cm. by 136cm.) signed in pencil on the carcase of the base ‘William Hallen, upholstered ornate antique french arm chair
1763 Long Acre.

William Haiku, art deco glass nude dish the moulded and dentil-moulded architectural comice above a single
door with a pair of Ionic pilasters flanking a panelled arch headed by swags ofleaves and
enclosing three shelves, square moulded legs the lower part with a single ‘brickwork’ door enclosing three
graduated drawers, antique campaign beds on a solid plinth, antique five leg oak square table 8ft. lin. high by 3ft. 8in. wide (262cm. by 112cm.) circa
1765.
A FINE GEORGE II MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST of four graduated long drawers, decorating antique 3 leg ladder
with moulded top and shaped sides, queen anne style high backed sofa 1940 the projecting canted corners with leaf-carved corbels, antique french art deco green bedside lamps
a rosette-and-ribbon base moulding and bracket feet, early antique draws 2ft. 7in. high by 3ft. 6in. wide
(79cm. by 107cm.) circa 1755.
A GOOD EARLY GEORGE III MAHOGANY SERPENTINE-FRONTED KNEEHOLE WRITING
CHEST in the manner of William Vile, sevres jasper style the moulded top and the frieze drawer fitted with
lidded compartments and an adjustable mirror, grape trellis blue and white salt glaze with three concave-fronted short drawers
either side of an arch with a bow-fronted recessed cupboard, wide antique rolltop desk the fluted canted corners
headed by acanthus carving and raised on ogee bracket feet, national silver company patterns, basket weave 2ft. 9in. high by 3ft. 9Vzin.
